Dwolla is a payment network that allows any business or person to send, request and accept money without the use of credit cards. It securely connects to your bank account and allows you to accept payment for just $0.25 per transaction, or free for transactions of $10 or less. Otherwise, Dwolla is free to use. No merchant fees, no setup fees, no other fees of any kind.

Requesting Payment With Dwolla
To accept Dwolla, your device will need to be connected to WiFi.
On the Payment Screen, select Dwolla in the middle column. On the right, log in with your Dwolla account. This will bring up a list of Dwolla payments sent to your account.
Once you log in, Change will ask to use your current location. This helps you find nearby Dwolla users. We recommend tapping OK.
Tap the People tab on the right to view the list of nearby Dwolla users. If the person you're looking for isn't showing up, use the search bar to find them by name or Dwolla ID.
Tap the customer's name to request payment from them.
Dwolla will send your request to the customer for them to approve it.
If something goes wrong (e.g. customer doesn't have enough Dwolla funds, customer is run over by a herd of angry wildebeest), you will have the option to tap Stop Waiting, which will cancel the request.
Once the request is approved by the customer, the payment will show up in the list of payments under the Payments tab. Now you can apply that payment to the order.
Applying Dwolla Payments
To accept Dwolla, your device will need to be connected to WiFi.
On the Payment Screen, select Dwolla from the middle column. If you haven't done so already, log into your Dwolla account on the right. This will bring up a list of Dwolla payments sent to your account.
Select a payment from the list and it will be applied to the order.
Handling Tips and Excess Payment
If a customer sends a Dwolla payment for more than the amount due, the excess amount will be pulled from the Cash in your till. The drawer will open and the excess amount can be given to the customer.
If a customer is overpaying in order to provide a tip, remove the cash from the drawer and place it in your tip jar.
The excess Dwolla payments show up on your reports as Cash Withdrawal by Dwolla.
Removing Dwolla Payments
Once a Dwolla payment as been applied to an order, you can remove it by selecting the payment in your Order Journal. A remove button will appear in the Dwolla pane. Tap this button to remove the payment.
